01Power and energy are different.
Watts (W) are how much can run at once. Kilowatt-hours (kWh) are how much energy is stored to use over time.
A 3,600 W unit can run a lot at once, but its 3 kWh battery decides for how long.
Tell me more
At a steady 300 W, a 3 kWh battery runs for about 8 hours if 80% of its energy reaches your appliances. That's an estimate, not a tested result.
02Runtime starts with what you plug in.
Two fans and a few lights use far less than an air conditioner, a cooker or a water heater.
A 100 W fan for 5 hours uses 500 Wh, before losses.

Use each appliance's running watts and the hours it actually runs. Heat, standby power and the appliance's own behaviour all change the real runtime.
03Motors need extra power to start.
Fridges, pumps, fans and power tools draw more for a moment when they start than when they run.
Adding up running watts doesn't prove a tool will start.

That's why we test motor-driven appliances and tools on the unit before recommending it. The unit's peak rating and how long it can hold that peak both matter.
04“Portable” still means heavy.
Our power stations weigh 38 to 74 kg. Plan for stairs, lifting and getting it into a car.
Wheels help on flat ground. They don't help on stairs.

Follow the manufacturer's handling instructions, and make sure there are enough people to lift it safely when it has to be carried.
05Recharging is part of the plan.
Think about when grid power or sunshine is available, and how fast the unit can take it in.
A bigger battery lasts longer, but it also takes longer to refill.
Tell me more
Charging time depends on the unit's maximum input, temperature and how empty the battery is. Charging slows as the battery gets full.
